Bronze of Narcissus
A magnificent copy of a 19th Century Classical bronze of a nude Narcissus by M. Amadeo Napoli. He has a ram's fleece over his arm and is standing on a square base.
According to Greek mythology, Narcissus is shown looking at a reflection of himself, and consequently fell in love with his own reflection. These figures were highly popular in many stately homes in the 19th Century, and remains popular today.
