'The Bell at Stilton'
REF: 071
Price: £650
A large framed print of a painting by Cecil Aldin, of the exterior of 'The Bell' at Stilton - a coaching Inn in Stilton, Cambridgeshire, in England. The building dates back to 1642, and is still thriving today as a popular hotel and wedding venue.
We do know that the prints have been property of the same family for the last 100 years.
Cecil Aldin was an English artist (1870-1935). He trained in Kensington and lived in Chelsea, and was a member of the Chelsea Arts Club.
It is possible that this print was signed by the artist - but we have been unable to prove it.
